Responsive performance is at the core of the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Near-instant gear changes are coupled with the variable Drive Style Index, allowing the ZR1X to intelligently anticipate driver input and quickly react with gear holds and downshifts.
A 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery electrifies the ZR1 for the first time, powering the electric drive unit that controls the front wheels. Battery energy for the ZR1X was expanded by 26% compared to the E-Ray, enabling more consistent track lapping. The self-charging battery system features integrated power electronics for maximum responsiveness, efficiency and performance.
The electrified motor powering the front axle produces 186 horsepower and adds 145 lb.-ft. of torque to the front wheels, enhancing acceleration off the line, through corners and in passing maneuvers. The system also offers limited EV-only drive modes at speeds up to 45 mph for 4-5 miles, allowing for quiet operation to discreetly move your car or exit your neighborhood when needed.

Large side air inlets feature signature carbon-fiber wishbone bezels. This, paired with the rear brake cooling ducts, allows for additional engine cooling while maximizing air intake.
The intercooler with flow-through hood and spoiler helps cool turbo-charged air to extract airflow. The front splitter, paired with an underwing and smooth underbody, helps generate suction under the vehicle to maximize downforce and reduce drag.

The available Competition Sport seats are wrapped in Napa leather with performance textile in high-wear areas. On 1LZ, the performance textile covers the entire seat.
Standard on 3LZ, the GT2 seat features carbon-fiber trim with a seatback halo and is wrapped in genuine Napa leather.
Standard on 1LZ, the GT1 seat is wrapped in genuine Mulan leather and is designed for long-distance comfort and support.
